Our story
From Rays IT & Academics to Podium Technologies
We started out as Rays IT & Academics, building websites and running digital marketing for schools and local businesses around Kathmandu.
Clients kept asking us for more: hosting, business email, social media pages, custom software, someone to call when the office network goes down. So we grew into those jobs, and the old name has been rebranded describing what we do. Our main tagline is "Be Heard" through podium.
Podium Technologies is that same team under a name that fits. We work from Kathmandu, and deliver to clients across Nepal and overseas as well.
How we work with clients
One team for everything
Website, marketing, social media, hosting and IT support come from the same people, so problems do not bounce between suppliers.
Security is part of the job
SSL, hardened hosting, backups and careful code are in every project. We do not sell them as extras.
Local office, overseas clients
We are in Kalanki, Kathmandu. You can visit, or work with us entirely online as our clients in Australia do.
We stay after launch
Updates, fixes and small changes are handled by the people who built the site.
